About this role

This is a highly visible role, focused on building out processes and capabilities to support the rapid growth of the business and help us make better decisions. You will work across a range of strategic challenges and be a trusted advisor within one the fastest growing Aussie FinTechs.

This role is based out of our Sydney office and reports into our Group Financial Controller. You will have close contact with our regional offices in Sao Paulo, London and other locations. The role is ideal for someone with a strong commercial acumen, solid problem solving skills and a sound understanding of technical accounting.

In this role, you will be exposed to:

  • Building fit for purpose processes that can support the global needs of a growing team across multiple regions
  • Financial reporting, management reporting, business analysis & regulatory reporting
  • Cash flow management and optimising return on capital
  • Corporate structuring and tax optimisation
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial control and risk management
  • Accounting implications of new product initiatives
  • Management of audits and external advisors

A bit about you

  • CA qualified;
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders;
  • Strong understanding of technical accounting with a proven track record in applying these concepts;
  • Experienced in structured problem solving and process improvement with some trusted approaches in your tool-kit.
