About this role

We are looking for a dynamic Communications Manager to take the lead on our earned communications with our stakeholders, developing strategies to deliver coverage and conversation for Stake. Your focus will be to further develop Stake's brand in the financial services and mainstream media, and consumer, communities.

Creative thinking coupled with an ambition to deliver excellence is essential for this role. Experience in corporate communications and project management are helpful, but not imperative. You will work with the Marketing and Community Team, developing brand ideas that create impact and relevance at scale. You'll report directly to the CMO.

The Communications Manager will

  • Cultivate strong relationships with employees and external stakeholders (media, partners, regulators) to amplify our presence and help build a strong name for Stake
  • Create bold, creative and inspiring earned media ideas such as brand activations, partnerships, etc. that earns share of voice
  • Develop media relations and communications strategies with our agency partners
  • Build and manage a strong network of brand ambassadors
  • Plan and accomplish agreed targets for coverage and share of voice

A bit about you

  • You have at least 6 years of experience in PR, media, marketing or journalism
  • You have strong communication, planning and organisational skills
  • You are commercially minded and have the passion to achieve your goals
  • You want to be part of building a global company re-shaping a category
