About this role

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will help the team deliver a scalable mobile/web application allowing Stake to scale globally across Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin-America. Our engineers take ownership, work collaboratively and challenge each other to build outstanding trading, payment and research solutions. You will maintain highly available systems and ensure that new developments are executed flawlessly when delivered to customers.

You will:

  • Deliver significant enhancements in trading functionality to Stake customers
  • Establish processes across the entire product stack to ensure quality delivery to market
  • Have the freedom to implement suitable technologies to solve challenges associated with Stake's global expansion
  • Learn to manage software products in a fast-growing business

A little bit about you

  • You are a hands-on problem solver. Financial markets are complex and require creativity to provide a great customer experience whilst maintaining accuracy, compliance and availability. You understand how to make efficient technical choices given any business context.
  • You have experience with quality assurance across a B2C product.
  • You understand of how modern web applications are structured end-to-end.
  • You have experience in
    • API automation
    • UI testing with Java-Selenium

  • Experience working on multi-region products, especially preferential within the financial services sector.
  • Unit/programmatic testing, performance testing and stress testing
  • You have an interest in finance or the markets. It can be a curious interest or a lifelong passion.
